Permission to use David's Poetry

We receive many requests to use David's poems in print, CD, DVD, artwork, performance pieces and on-line. In our experience, seeking permission is often the last task of a long creative endeavor, coming moments before a looming deadline. We will try to accommodate your timeline, and it will expedite approval for you to be aware of our process. Please take time to read the schedule below for the appropriate permission fee, and choose between the forms to download and complete.

We ask that you reproduce the poem faithfully, conforming the line and stanza breaks to the original. If this is problematical due to design or space considerations, you may request an exception.

Forms. Please download the appropriate form. When completed, please mail to: Julie Quiring, Many Rivers Company, PO Box 868, Langley, WA 98260, together with the permission fee. If your project does not fall into one of the categories below, or you have questions, please email Anna Wolcott.

Printed Works.
Full poem or excerpt of any length in print in a book or periodical. $95.

     Bulletin, program, newsletter or flyer.
     Full poem or excerpt of any length:
     circulation up to 5,000 - $50
     circulation over 5,000  - $95

Recording.
Audio or DVD requests need to be approved by David personally, so please be aware that it can take up to six months for a definitive response, due to his traveling schedule. David rarely approves his poetry being put to music.
