IMPORTANT NOTE:

Poetry, Zen and the Art of Living in an Anxious and Restless World
Join David Whyte and Henry Shukman for an intensive morning experience, drinking from deeper and more enlivening sources in the poetic and Zen traditions than we might find at the anxious surfaces of our busy lives.
The still point we find in the depths of the well is a place not of stasis and inaction but a source of essential movement where we come to understand our central relational responsibilities in the world and find the courage to stand by them. Through a combination of enlivening poetry and Zen’s approach to stillness, this morning workshop will explore the contemplative foundation of courage and compassion, and the energetic sources where we are able to rest and then renew our commitments in the world.
